Need a hand?
We're a small team in Chicago and we read everything that comes in. Below is the fastest route for the usual things. If none of them fit, write to us anyway — we'd rather have the message than have you stuck.
If you feel unsafe, start here
Something happened on a date, or someone is making you uncomfortable — that goes straight to safety@placeandti.me, not to the general queue. Tell us what happened in your own words. You don't need to have proof, and you don't need to decide what should happen next.
If you're in immediate danger, call 911 first. We are not an emergency service and we can't get to you.
Common things
- I can't sign in
- Check that you're using the same email or phone number you signed up with. If that doesn't do it, write to support@placeandti.me from the address on the account — that's what lets us confirm it's yours without asking you for anything sensitive.
- I want to delete my account
-
You can do it yourself, in the app: open the Settings tab and choose Delete Account at the bottom. It takes effect the moment you confirm — you disappear from everyone else's deck, and any date that hasn't happened yet is cancelled.
What happens to your data after that, and what we're required to keep, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Can't get into the app to do it? Email support@placeandti.me from the address on the account and we'll take care of it.
- Someone behaved badly
- Report and block them in the app — that's the fastest route and it hides you from them both ways, with no notification to them. Then tell safety@placeandti.me if you want a human to look at it.
- Stop emailing me
- Ask us to stop. No account needed, it takes effect immediately, and we won't email you to confirm.
- I run a venue
- Operator questions — getting listed, your hours, check-in, who on your team has access — go to venues@placeandti.me. If you're not listed yet, start at Partners.
- Something on the site is broken
- Tell us what you were doing and what you saw: support@placeandti.me. A screenshot helps more than you'd think. If you're wondering whether it's us or you, try Status first.
What to expect when you write
- A person reads it. There's no bot on the other end, and no ticket number.
- We aim to answer within a couple of business days. That's our aim, not a guarantee we've sold you — safety mail jumps the queue.
- We won't ask for your password. Ever, for any reason. If a message claiming to be us does, it isn't us.
